Some think going it alone in an internet business is a shortcut to online business success. But I know from experience that the journey as a lonely entrepreneur is immensely frustrating, expensive and fruitless.
Online business success stems from having the right tools and training, for sure, but what’s also critical are having the right associations, mentors and a community of like-minded people around you.
Those that invest in their own personal development and work collegially are the winners in the top tier network marketing space, the others stick to affiliate marketing or sell their own products.
Speaking to hundreds of struggling marketers over the years, I know there’s a road to online business success that most don’t realise, understand or believe. Turning hope into belief through personal development. It sounds too simplistic.
But in fact, this thinking is actually the OPPOSITE of the truth.
Which will eventually cause you to fail, and never achieve your hopes and dreams of online business success – for most people that equates to a tonne of money, flexible lifestyle and freedom to control what you do with your life.
So what really is the shortcut to online business success?
It’s Revealed Right Here
This is the only “shortcut” I know of. And it’s worked for thousands of people.
If you’re going it alone if business, you owe it to yourself to get the whole story.
Here’s how my mentor explained things really well – click for free audio training.

Let me explain with three examples.
Network marketers (the Sales reps/team leaders)
Even if they operate their business on the internet, network marketers tend to act like sales reps, dedicated and loyal to one company and one product line and building a team who do what they do.
A network marketing business is designed to be duplicable, coherent and consistent, but as marketers these sales reps are rarely unique – one of thousands or millions of distributors with the same offer, all competing for the same customers.
Some of the very top producers have built a brand around their team and developed systems, earning affiilate commissions by renting these out to their downline.
Affiliate marketers (the Sales reps)
On the other hand, affiliates are rarely out there with one or two products. These marketers sign up for a whole host of affiliate programs they can grab links for, shove up flashing banners all over their website. They bombard their lists with an assortment of offers hoping something will stick and some people will buy.
In both cases, these poor, lost marketers don’t have any strategy behind what products and services they mix and match or how to bring them into closer alignment.
Franchise marketers (the Managers)
Franchise businesses are a bit like network marketing and affiliate marketing in that you have a fixed brand and product line that you market and sell. You’re simply the manager.
The most successful franchise marketers have learned how to take their duplicatable business model and add value to their customers. They get the repeat visitors by making it a high quality and pleasant experience.
Now for traditional, physical franchises (like restaurants or cleaning agencies) that is simply about customer service, because the company dictates the design and delivery of the product. But online, it’s a completely different story.
#1. Decide what your business is all about – what’s your passion as its founder/CEO, what do you value and believe in, what’s your mission and how will people benefit as a result of doing business with you (as a customer or a team associate).
#2. Build a brand around #1 and only market products and services that fit with your mission and your brand. Set up your internet site as a hub for your primary business but provide both low ticket and high ticket offers.
#3. Set out a “value ladder” of offers. For example, you may start off with a free ebook, or time limited trial, as a taster of a book, training guide or tool. From there, the next rung of your ladder might be a video or audio version, next rungs could be a home study course, a live seminar or event, one-on-one coaching, done-for-you services, inner circle.
People will pay more money for the same content packaging in different ways – see Russell Brunson’s Local Marketing Myths. In fact, you can often create a generic business guide and “re-niche” the front end for different target markets for maximum results.
(That fact alone is gold for developing top internet franchise businesses.)
Top internet franchise businesses create the perfect storm.
Having a free, trial or low ticket offer on the front end can make buying from you or getting started with you a feasible option.
If your visitors/customers experience some of the value you give – so you do need a decent quality front end product or service – they will become repeat buyers and move up your value ladder to your top tier back end product where some really big commissions are possible.
A buyer is a buyer is a buyer, as they say. Keep your buyer lists separate and market around the next rung on the ladder for them.
Having all three key elements in place in your sales & marketing funnel – your internet shop – is the reason are why this strategy is so powerful.
The combination of top tier product line and low cost offers within a clear and coherent business or personal brand provides the ‘slippery slide’ that marketing legend Joe Sugarman talks about.
I call these ‘top internet franchise businesses’ since this strategy borrows the best from of these different business and marketing models and overcomes the mistakes that most marketers make on the internet.
This is my own business strategy and why our team is beating the competition hands down in the network marketing and internet business industry. Join me on our twice weekly webinar to find out more:

Peek behind the curtain of how to bring together mindset, meaning and money to build a top internet franchise business for yourself with our training, coaching & support.
I’ve put together a short outline here of some top income earner secrets, to help you judge if you’re cut out to be one of the 3% who actually make massive profits with home business opportunities UK or world wide.
If you’re looking to increase home business profits, here’s my top income earner secrets of all time.
Of all the things I’ve found with people I coach (and I’d include some of my team members in that) is they lack the self-belief, consistent daily disciplines needed to succeed, something just doesn’t connect.
In contrast, there’s not real secret to top home business opportunities UK or anywhere else. There’ s no magic button – it’s not just that you picked the wrong company, or the wrong upline/team.
Success is rooted in knowing who you are, what you stand for, and believing in what’s possible, and then aligning an opportunity and products with what you’re about.
“If we did all the things we were capable of, we‘d literally astonish ourselves.” Thomas Edison
This is a major reason why I added a rock solid personal education product to my business portfolio, because this is what I was finding people in network marketing & affiliate marketing were most lacking.
So if you’re struggling to take your home business to the next level, there are no real top income earner secrets, no special marketing strategies or tools you haven’t yet found or bought.
I guarantee YOU are the reason. Most people never reach their true potential, because they’re too busy blaming everyone and everything else.
That sense of higher purpose drives everything you do, you can’t fake it, you have to become absolutely rock solid aware of it and live by it.
This is what’s REQUIRED to be truly successful.
Here’s two clear examples.
First, personal awareness is totally necessary if you are going to really brand yourself and leverage ‘attaction marketing’ in all its fine glory. It’s also critical to standing out as a leader. People buy more on emotional connection than product features or even benefits. So you have to share something of yourself and for that you have to be at one with who you are and be willing to work on your personal value to inspire, teach and help others.
Second, integrating lifestyle with running your business and living in the moment is what helps others see what is possible through your vision, leadership and demonstration. We all need role models who we resonate with at different times in our life and in our business growth. So focus on enjoying and sharing journey, not just the destination. Get good at the PROCESS of your business, not only on the numbers or outcomes – the results will come from that.
Do either of those two top income earner “secrets” ring true for you?
How are YOU working on those?
I’ve been super excited by my decision to align myself with Avant, and I’m finding so many other people for whom this makes total sense.
Finally, worlds collide … I’m a professional developer/biologist/educationalist by previous career, and an online marketer & business coach in my current career as an entrepreneur. So it’s great to see these past and present worlds come together in a new membership site I’m creating – heck, I might even call it Top Income Earner Secrets (with my tongue in my cheek!)
My vision is to create an environment of personal learning and capacity building, to encapsulate the kinds of alignment of opportunities into one holistic smorgasbord.
Anyone can join, come in and browse, interact, review and ‘find’ their own portfolio – low tier, top tier, direct sales, multi level, personal development, health, financial or spiritual focused products – put together a set that fits with who you are and what you are passionate and purposeful about.
From there, as one of my business associates, I’d help you put together your own business plan and we help you with the most appropriate and cost- effective, relevant marketing for your target audience and most wanted customers.
I’d just love to have your views on whether this would be of value and how you see that working best.
Here’s what I find talking to people looking to start a home business. They research companies on two criteria – meaning (products they can believe in) and money (what they can earn). They want what they do to be meaningful and give real benefit to people, and they want to make a lot of money.
But here’s the problem. Most people don’t know anything about entrepreneurship, about leverage, about financial planning, wealth creation – they are foggy on all that important stuff. So education is critical. People are in a prison right now – emotionally and financially.
And this is where WMI comes into its own – when the products help you personally, helps improves other people’s lives who you introduce to the community, AND makes you a tonne of money.
With the right mindset and business model, here’s how you do can do both and have tremendous success.

Social network ads are notoriously tricky for tracking conversionsA new metric reported in a recent article in eMarketer indicates that social network ads outperform banners and rich media – yey!!! This is GREAT news for attraction marketers like me (and you?)
Although paid search still tops all … boo :*) in terms of cost and engagement, there are some promising results for social network ads served as an integral part of consuming content on the sites.
Marketers are constantly on the look out for new metrics by which to test, review and tweak social media marketing. So this new ‘Social Activity Index’ by social media advertising firm appssavvy.

Wealth Masters International Co-Founders Kip Herriage and Karl Bessey launched this month’s Founders’ Call last evening with a reminder that each and every member is part of the world’s premiere wealth creation community.
As every topic on the call confirmed, this is more than just a slogan… it’s a passion and a commitment that the entire WMI team lives by every single day. Here’s a quick recap of all the important updates.
Both Co-Founders drove this key point home in their own words:
“The wealth creation principles we’re empowering our members with are not being taught in schools. People are hungry for what we have to offer – they’re sick and tired of being broke – sick and tired of layoffs – sick and tired of an uncertain future.
The timing has never been more perfect for a company like Wealth Masters and our message of abundance.”
A key tool for any internet marketer is their blog – it’s an official and personal representation of You Inc.
It draws in people who resonate with what you stand for … true attraction marketing at work if you do it right.
I talked about this exact thing on my personal blog a while back. How to Beat the Masses in the Super Competitive Internet Marketing Niche and Heart to Heart Marketing for Business Success – Simon Sinek inspires me!
So when I’m coaching people to set up their blog – yes there’s the technical stuff like getting your domain/hosting/themes/widgets and all that clever stuff …. but what makes or breaks a blog is this. Marketing your WHY.
Think about what it is you are projecting through your blog – what that says about you – does it truly reflect your WHY and how might it INSPIRE others to take action and hang out with you, or partner with you in your vision, venture or business.
Once you are clear in your own mind, then you should work on how you can best communicate that to others.
Only then you can talk about the HOW you achieve your why and the WHAT you do exactly.
So your blog pages will be solving people’s most pressing concerns, desires, needs … start with yourself, what you were looking for, and you will identify the headings/pages along the top.
Some examples for your blog structure – tying in with what your keyword research identifies for your niche:
home business or internet business might inspire best with ‘work from home’ or ‘achieve financial freedom’, learn marketing or online marketing might be ‘leverage your time’, you might promote ‘personal development’ or ‘millionaire mindset’.
Essentially, you need to INSPIRE people to action!
For me, my WHY is to inspire and support people to play their greatest game – Wealth Masters, my plan/blueprint (opt in right to grab that) are my HOW, and the marketing system, tools or methods, success coaching, personal development is the WHAT I use in order to achieve my WHY.
Can you identify your WHY, HOW and WHAT is that way?
Then you have the structure for your blog. Then your POSTS are evidence of all that. They reflect your why, talk about the how and show the what … hope that makes sense.
My 15 year old son did a remarkable job on his blog, he truly impressed me with how he took the essence of what I teach on this and he About me page is an excellent example of marketing your why.
